We’re still binding (which means if you’ve ordered a copy, it’s a bit delayed, but will be heading to you this week), but consider this a run-up to the formal announcement of the beauty that is Shana Youngdahl‘s chapbook winter/windows. The two poems in this book contain a few lines that I think will stop you in your tracks, and Shana writes unflinchingly and deeply about parenthood and about stewardship and how the two intertwine. The poems are fierce in their love for the world and its beings, and their ferocity comes in part from their speaker’s understanding of transience and waste. I can’t recommend the book enough, and not only because we published it!
More about this soon. If you want to pre-order a copy, see here.
